I know what it’s like to feel as if I’m the only one, the odd one out who likes “funny books”. It made me feel a little left out at times, but it also made me feel, well, unique.

Like a unicorn. 

The truth is, comics have defined me in ways, inspired me, shaped me, helped me to learn about myself, the world (nay, the universe!).

Comics are not all there is about me, but close enough, I guess. For some people, that may be all they see when looking at me, while others see beyond the hobby, the work, the career.

Others see the imagination.

The wonder.
